  <title>Dev team from different timezones</title>

            &lt;div&gt;&lt;p&gt;Hi all,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I started a new project about a month ago, and I'm trying to show the bank that using SCRUM shouldn’t be something to be afraid of. However, I’m already facing a challenge: the development team is made of 4 people, but 2 of them are in a different time zone (+3.5h). It’s not a real team in the SCRUM sense — it’s essentially composed of members from two existing teams, and they’ve been asked by management to allocate only a percentage of their time to this project while continuing to work on their usual activities. I’m aware that this is not good practice for SCRUM.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Some deliverables, especially those involving HR policies or regional labor laws, require external reviews that don’t align neatly with sprint timelines. This sometimes makes it difficult to keep a consistent Definition of Done or maintain predictable velocity.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

  <title>Product Goals: One or Many?</title>

&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Scrum Guide suggests that there should only be one Product Goal and at any one time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;“The Product Goal is the long-term objective for the Scrum Team. They must fulfill (or abandon) one objective before taking on the next”&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;/blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;However, the Scrum.org Learning Series suggest multiple Product Goals:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

  <title>How to handle a backlog item where the estimation is extemely off at the end (expect weeks, done in 30 min)</title>

&lt;p&gt;In my teams, we've been using Planning Poker for over a year now, and it's worked well for what we want to achieve. We use the standard (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13...) to estimate each work item before the sprint starts. We &amp;nbsp;have establish a previous sprints average velocity that we use (for example, 39 points). We then use that average, along with contextual factors (e.g., “John is on vacation this sprint, so let’s aim lower than 39”), to guide what (how many pts) we include in the new sprint initially..&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
