New training course helps professionals develop a clear understanding of the fundamentals of Scrum and prepare for PSM I certification

BOSTON - July 30, 2025 - Scrum.org, the Home of Scrum, today announced its new Professional Scrum Fundamentals self-paced training course. This course explores all facets of the Scrum framework including its accountabilities, events, artifacts and more. Throughout this self-paced course, the elements of the Scrum Guide come alive with interactive features including activities, videos and quizzes. Professional Scrum Fundamentals is highly recommended for people preparing to take the globally recognized Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification test and includes an attempt at the test upon completion of the course.

Scrum helps people and teams deliver value incrementally in a collaborative way. Continuous experimentation and feedback loops are utilized along the way to learn and improve as the team progresses.

This training course is designed for professionals who are new to Scrum and for those who want to strengthen their Scrum capabilities. Students will develop a clear understanding of the fundamentals of the Scrum framework. New PSPO-AI Essentials course teaches how to leverage AI Tools and apply AI to support Product Ownership capabilities

BOSTON, June 26, 2025 - Scrum.org, the Home of Scrum, today announced a new instructor-led training course - Professional Scrum Product Owner™ - AI Essentials (PSPO-AI Essentials). This interactive, hands-on course empowers Product Owners, Product Managers and Business Analysts to understand, leverage, and apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support their jobs and teams.

AI is becoming a foundational capability in product management and is transforming every role. There are many ways to leverage AI to help discover, define, validate and deliver valuable products to market. This new online training format from Scrum.org expands learning options beyond its highly regarded live instructor led training formats. The PSPBM Skills course helps Scrum practitioners improve their ability to manage all aspects of the Product Backlog.

In a recent survey conducted by Scrum.org, over 65% of respondents indicated that online self-paced/asynchronous learning (modules that walk you through specific lessons, testing your knowledge along the way) is their learning format preference. The self-paced version of the course features interactive activities, learning checkpoints, suggested Scrum.org learning resources and video elements, ensuring an engaging and effective learning experience. BOSTON & TOKYO, March 5, 2025 – Scrum.org, the Home of Scrum, announced today that the globally recognized and respected Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification test will be available in Japanese starting early April 2025. Additionally, the Scrum Open practice test is now available in Japanese. This translation marks a significant milestone in making Professional Scrum more accessible to practitioners in Japan and for those who are fluent in Japanese.

The Japanese version of the PSM I certification test was developed in collaboration with ITpreneurs Japan/Asia Pacific Inc., a Japan-based organization that provides practical training on Agile and Scrum and Optilearn, an international training organization.This collaboration enhances the integrity and quality of the translation as they bring deep Scrum knowledge and experience.
